My approach for this logo started with identifying the key aspects the client wished to express in his photography. Much of his work centers around capturing personal and precious moments, so we chose to pair an uplifting orange and fuchsia palette with a calming indigo.
The icon is an abstraction of Japanese spider lilies, known as higanbana (彼岸花). The client was inspired by these flowers on a trip to Japan and hopes to capture the same kind of serene, otherworldly beauty in his photography.
